Catching up…

So… it has been a minute since I’ve posted anything on my website huh? I want to apologize to anyone who was hoping I would review any movies over the past

checks last time I reviewed anything

Holy shit, 6 months. Didn’t actually realize it had been that long.

Well let’s catch up a bit since its been a while. What movies have I seen since then and how were they?

Well I didn’t actually see many movies since October 30th. Just a few here and there, one Netflix exclusive as i pretended I was actually going to try to watch movies that were nominated for Oscars this year, and one of the biggest movies of the past few years if you are a marvel fan.

AKA I have only watched four movies since I saw Dune. Two that I had planned on reviewing but couldn’t because of issues I was having with the website at the time (thankfully I figured it out) and three where I just was in a bit of a funk mentally and didn’t want to review.

(In order of when I saw them):

Eternals: Solid Marvel movie. Good characters, but I would have preferred it as a series instead as I feel like it would have played to the concept a bit better than a two and a half hour movie. 6.5/10 variants

Encanto: Good for what it is, a kids movie. The songs are amazing, surprising no one, but when I originally saw it, I wasn’t in the right mood to watch a kids movie. If you want a review from someone who loves Disney, ask Christie, she loved it. 7/10 rats named Ernando.

Spider-Man: No Way Home: Excellent movie, saw it opening night because I was excited to see the last of the trilogy of movies with Tom Holland, and it didn’t disappoint. It was a fantastic movie for anyone who is a fan of the movies, or someone just getting into them. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t cry twice while watching this one. Also Tobey Maguire is the one true spider-man to me. 9.5/10 Villains from previous Spider-Man movies.

Tick. Tick. Boom: This was something I didn’t expect. I enjoy the occasional musical but I didn’t expect a Musical about a musical about a guy writing a musical would be this good. Andrew Garfield is great in this, the music was excellent, and the plot and way the story is told was very unique. It was a little longer than I normally want for a movie but since it was only on Netflix, I could just get up and walk around or go get snacks whenever I needed because I could pause. Worth a watch for fans of Musicals. 8.5/10 days until I turn 30.

Now. We are all caught up. Not a ton of new reviews. But I hope this will tide my rabid fanbase over until my next review comes through which should be in the next month or three.

Obviously, that is a joke, but I did want to say I am trying to work on not backing out of things that scare me so I will be reviewing something this weekend. Maybe the new Batman movie with Twilight star Robert Pattinson. Maybe the movie everyone is saying not to go see, Morbius, because I love crappy movies. Or maybe I will just pick something random that is showing at my local AMC. Who knows, but stay tuned to this thing I call a blog to find out.

Until next time.
