I know, I know. This review is about two and a half weeks late. Football kind of took over my life for the past two weeks and I kept putting this off until I finally went and saw another movie last night and now I have a backlog. So here I am on a Monday night, Peyton and Eli Manning talking about Cowboys vs. Eagles on Monday Night Football while I recollect what is likely to go down as one of the three best movies I see this year.
Yes, Shang Chi is another Marvel origin movie, but it isn’t just another run of the mill Marvel movie. The fact that my sister Sam is an advocate for this movie is proof enough as she is pretty much anti-superhero movie at this point.
I don’t know what more to say to be completely honest. I am struggling to find things to complain about with this movie. If you listen to my movie recommendations, then go see this movie or watch it once it comes onto Disney+ later. It’ll be worth it.
10/10 of the legendary rings.
